Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) La Cosa Nostra's attentive Hans Bergfelt managed to snatch the ball when Santiago Sartori made a throw-in in the 4th minute of the game. The Spain fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Spain's Omar Toledo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 11th minute Omar Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sonny Alén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Vicente Merino threw the ball into play from the sideline. La Cosa Nostra's Hans Bergfelt quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 16th match minute, Spain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adria Bielsa to maneuver through the defense. Elias Millrick's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Ascaso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Ricardo Araújo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sonny Alén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adria Bielsa in the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Aranda in the 33rd minute of play forced La Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper Sonny Alén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Ascaso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Håkan Šuker showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 36 minute of play. Omar Toledo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 43 minutes into the game, Santiago Sartori threw the ball into play from the sideline. La Cosa Nostra's Håkan Arenius quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a little luck, Spain's Gabriel Ascaso got control of the ball when Agnaldo Reis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Spain's Gabriel Ascaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Håkan Šuker in the 48th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Omar Toledo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes La Cosa Nostra got a freekick which was hit by Elias Millrick. David Aranda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Sonny Alén made a huge save. Sonny Alén made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Aranda in the 60th minute. 62 minutes into the game, Omar Toledo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sonny Alén. Omar Toledo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. In the 66th minute David Aranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sonny Alén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Ascaso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Håkan Šuker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Håkan Šuker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Ascaso having to interfere. Spain's Carles Cherro was substituted for Omar Toledo. Sonny Alén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adria Bielsa in the 77th minute of play. Sonny Alén made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when David Aranda sent off a good shot on target. A throw-in in the 85th minute of the game was made by Santiago Sartori with Carles Cherro as target, who quickly passed the ball forward.
