Edwardów's Cezary Kaczeniak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 22nd minute of play. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 23rd minute. Cezary Kaczeniak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Takacs Tibor, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 27th minute of play forced Edwardów's goalkeeper Cezary Kaczeniak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hungary eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
