Belgium's Casper Claes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Belgium from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Belgium defense, Iosif Bulgar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Casper Claes. The Belgium fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casper Claes should have stopped the shot. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind t4D - Trance the World's goalkeeper Hipolito Rico, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hipolito Rico didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edward Vanderstraeten went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 34th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Rico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iosif Bulgar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Casper Claes having to make a save. 45 minutes into the match, Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iosif Bulgar. Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hipolito Rico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind t4D - Trance the World's goalkeeper Hipolito Rico, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edward Vanderstraeten was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Iosif Bulgar managed to get in a good position for a shot. t4D - Trance the World's supporters rose to their feet, but Iosif Bulgar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casper Claes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nigel Devos kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Hipolito Rico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by t4D - Trance the World's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edward Vanderstraeten was slow to take the kick. During this time Belgium's players had a chance to rest. If Simon Sabbe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute.
