Denis Calvino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denis Calvino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 27 minutes into the match, Atlético Villa Gesell's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Denis Calvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
