After a rather tough play, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Francis Sarmiento got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th match minute, Sarmiento de Resistencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arias Fabelo to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, Takacs Tibor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aaron Sarmiento. Sarmiento de Resistencia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Takacs Tibor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Hungary's Katona Janos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Henning Martinsson, made in the 26th minute of the game. In the 33rd minute, Arias Fabelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sarmiento de Resistencia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hegedus Henrik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 47 minutes into the game, Arias Fabelo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sarmiento de Resistencia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. A collision led to Sarmiento de Resistencia getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Arias Fabelo hit a great ball. Aaron Sarmiento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 48th minute of play. The Sarmiento de Resistencia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hungary were winning 0-4.

Aaron Sarmiento made an important save on a dangerous shot by Balazs Lajos in the 52nd minute. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Rito in the 62nd minute of play. After 63 played minutes Sarmiento de Resistencia got a freekick which was hit by Francis Sarmiento. When Martin Rito came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Sarmiento de Resistencia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Rito couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Martin Rito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. With a little luck, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Aaron Sarmiento got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Antal Valentin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 94 minutes of play, Hungary's Antal Valentin made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aaron Sarmiento was left in no man's land by his defense there!
