A collision led to Sarmiento de Resistencia getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Leopoldo Ixidor hit a great ball. When Martin Rito came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Sarmiento de Resistencia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Rito couldn't finish the play. After 15 minutes, Leopoldo Ixidor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sarmiento de Resistencia and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. 14 minutes into the game, one of Sarmiento de Resistencia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 16th minute there was a penalty for Germany. Frank Sachs stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aaron Sarmiento. 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Martin Rito kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tommy Kahn. That made the score 1-1 in the 21 minute of play. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Martin Rito might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin Rito ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Martin Rito tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aaron Sarmiento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. A throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game was made by Hector Sarmiento with Martin Rito as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 63rd minute Sarmiento de Resistencia were awarded a corner. Tadeu Jacinto went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Hector Sarmiento almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Germany's Tommy Kahn did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Rito in the 66th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Martin Rito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Sarmiento having to interfere. In the 82nd match minute, Sarmiento de Resistencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zinon Kazakopoulos to maneuver through the defense. Aaron Sarmiento stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Sachs's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Rito in the 86th minute of play. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Casomiro in the 93rd minute of the match. Martin Rito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sarmiento de Resistencia had won after a very even match.
