But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edward Arbaszewski couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miroslaw Przebendowski got free with Alexander Higgins in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Millano Bartumeu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zac O'Donnell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miroslaw Przebendowski succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 6-0 in the 42nd playminute. After some careless play in the Granatowo-Bordowi defense, Zac O'Donnell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Millano Bartumeu. The Granatowo-Bordowi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Millano Bartumeu should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zac O'Donnell to make the kick off. In the 72ndth minute of the game Miroslaw Przebendowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Scotland's Alexander Higgins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Scotland's Alexander Higgins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliusz Mockiewicz in the 73rd minute of play. Millano Bartumeu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zac O'Donnell in the 74th minute of the match. During the 76th minute of the match Ashton Nelson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ashton Nelson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Granatowo-Bordowi booed when Scotland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ashton Nelson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexander Higgins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliusz Mockiewicz in the 78th minute of play. Granatowo-Bordowi fully deserved thier win.
