Haithabu FC's Simon Blomquist quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alonso Aznar, made in the 25th minute of the game. In the 27thth minute of the game Remy Van Eyken who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Green Hell F.C.'s Fernando Prassov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hao Bang Feng in the 33rd minute of play forced Haithabu FC's goalkeeper Fabian Söderström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Harold Van Cruchten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hao Bang Feng hit a great ball. Fabian Söderström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Vieri in the 65th minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Green Hell F.C.'s Christian Vieri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabian Söderström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Haithabu FC's Conrad Vrolijcx was substituted for Marc Van Beets. Haithabu FC's Jacinto Torres was substituted for Remy Van Eyken. The supporters of Haithabu FC booed when Green Hell F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sándor Fenyvessy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Prassov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacinto Torres in the 74th minute. Fernando Prassov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Torres in the 77th minute of the match. Christian Vieri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabian Söderström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Many of Haithabu FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Haithabu FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Green Hell F.C. were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
