Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edward Vanderstraeten started the match with the kick off. Waldemar Dula showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 4th minute of the match. Mário Severo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tobias Abreu. Waldemar Dula took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Casper Claes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Montez in the 19th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Cayetano Montez came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waldemar Dula read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. After 25 minutes, Cayetano Montez made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Belgium's Casper Claes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Edward Vanderstraeten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Waldemar Dula having to make a save. Waldemar Dula took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the game, Edward Vanderstraeten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Waldemar Dula was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Waldemar Dula made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute Belgium were awarded a corner. Edward Vanderstraeten went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Edward Vanderstraeten heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Montez, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Edward Vanderstraeten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Waldemar Dula didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yves Dervaux went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After the first half Belgium were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cayetano Montez was the one to do the kick off. NøS P!MBA-MZ B!NGO's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Olavo Alcântara in the 52nd minute. The corner ended in Olavo Alcântara almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Belgium's Casper Claes did a great save. After some careless play in the NøS P!MBA-MZ B!NGO defense, Edward Vanderstraeten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waldemar Dula. The NøS P!MBA-MZ B!NGO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waldemar Dula should have stopped the shot. Yves Dervaux's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waldemar Dula read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Sander Dermaut charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sander Dermaut the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of NøS P!MBA-MZ B!NGO booed when Belgium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sander Dermaut didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Waldemar Dula made a huge save. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 72nd minute, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. NøS P!MBA-MZ B!NGO made a substitution. Amadeu Leal replaced Viriato Esparteiro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mário Severo in the 77th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 83 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Lenny Clocheret. In the 84th minute of the match Olavo Alcântara shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Casper Claes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, Belgium's Waldemar Dula threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edward Vanderstraeten, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 86th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Dula saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 88 minutes into the game, when Lenny Clocheret put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Belgium fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 87th minute. Penalty! When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see NøS P!MBA-MZ B!NGO lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
