After having played for 14 minutes, Carlo Maggi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. japanium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlo Maggi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maxime Durand made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edoardo Ferrante in the 16th minute. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Maggi in the 21st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Maxime Durand but with some difficulty. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlo Maggi to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Carlo Maggi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Maxime Durand was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Frank Peletier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Afonso Sampaio made a huge save. In the 61st minute Carlo Maggi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in France's zone, Alexander Treglia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maxime Durand came out of the goal and Alexander Treglia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frank Peletier kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 64thth minute. Though ot was a great shot japanium's keeper Afonso Sampaio was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Frank Peletier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute Alexander Treglia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edoardo Ferrante in the 71st minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute japanium were awarded a corner. Edmondo Camerlengo went to the cornerflag to take it. Afonso Sampaio made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Frank Peletier sent off a good shot on target. Camille Baume's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Afonso Sampaio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. The throw-in from Edmondo Camerlengo in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by France's Remy Dupuy. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Alexander Treglia managed to get in a good position for a shot. japanium's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexander Treglia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maxime Durand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. japanium had won after a very even match.
