Belgium's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 11th minute LOI were awarded a corner. Ahmet Hamdi Ortan went to the cornerflag to take it. 14 minutes into the match, LOI's Sulo Montaña sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Casper Claes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 17 minutes into the game, Sulo Montaña cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Casper Claes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Sulo Montaña managed to get in a good position for a shot. LOI's supporters rose to their feet, but Sulo Montaña was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casper Claes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to LOI getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Mehmet Akif Cerme hit a great ball. After having played for 28 minutes, Sulo Montaña managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LOI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sulo Montaña was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sulo Montaña, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sulo Montaña in the 36th minute of the match. With a little luck, Belgium's Casper Claes got control of the ball when Sulo Montaña tried to sneak it across the goal line. George Buturugã showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 41st minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, LOI's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but George Buturugã reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Guillaume Bonte made in the 50th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by LOI's Mehmet Akif Cerme. 53 minutes into the match, LOI's goalkeeper George Buturugã had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Özgür Özbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Özgür Özbay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 64 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Özgür Özbay came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute Özgür Özbay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but George Buturugã read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sulo Montaña in the 74th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, LOI's goalkeeper George Buturugã had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. George Buturugã made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 79th minute of play. LOI made a substitution. Kerimhan Cevher replaced Sulo Montaña. Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. LOI's George Buturugã played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 90th minute of play. Semail Ilıca made in the 92nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Kerimhan Cevher. After a rather tough play, LOI's Atak Koral got a free kick in the 93rd minute. A long shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 94th minute of play was well struck, but George Buturugã made a really good save at the right post. Belgium's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
