Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Teun Van Heurick started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute, Fabio Schneider ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dominic Colebrants was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Joonatan Ryers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Auer having to interfere. Fabio Auer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teun Van Heurick in the 20th minute of the match. Dominic Colebrants showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Schneider, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Teun Van Heurick kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabio Auer. That made the score 1-1 in the 23 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivan Van hoegaerde during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 35th minute Leonhard Maier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominic Colebrants saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dominic Colebrants took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Schneider, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sandro Galishoff made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Austria's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Van hoegaerde came free, but Fabio Auer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabio Schneider could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Dominic Colebrants made a huge save. The supporters of Austria booed when Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serge Raeimakers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dominic Colebrants was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Fabio Schneider capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fabio Schneider really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. After a rather tough play, Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin's Ivan Van hoegaerde got a free kick in the 80th minute. Dominic Colebrants made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Schneider in the 83rd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Dominic Colebrants successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Austria's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
