Wilson Amorim was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Agustin Tab showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 2 minute of play. 5 minutes in the game, Donato Rolado fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. Cobra Kai's Ariel Cordarell got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felipe Barreto took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Morales. Lautaro Morales dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. Lautaro Morales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipe Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lautaro Morales. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 23rd minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Morales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donato Rolado. 27 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Marc Anthony came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Morales didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caetano Moreira went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Anthony in the 37th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marc Anthony was the one to do the kick off. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Cobra Kai's Óli Manfredi. But to his dismay, Óli Manfredi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Portugal's Felipe Barreto quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Štefan Hlavica, made in the 61st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Óli Manfredi in the 62nd minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Cobra Kai getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Yu Xiang Zhou hit a great ball. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marc Anthony, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. When Óli Manfredi came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Cobra Kai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Óli Manfredi couldn't finish the play. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. Wilson Amorim didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Cobra Kai's Marc Anthony shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-2 in the ordered_time% minute. The supporters of Portugal booed when Cobra Kai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Štefan Hlavica didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartolomeu Dias got free with Lautaro Morales in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Pimentel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Morales having to interfere. Óli Manfredi scored 5-2 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marc Anthony in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wilson Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marc Anthony's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Cobra Kai's Óli Manfredi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 7-2 when Marc Anthony sped through Portugal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. Lautaro Morales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias in the 100th minute of play.
