The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Renán Rocafort made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witold Gotfryd in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Retana in the 13th minute of play forced ♣¥ OS IMPOSSIVEIS ¥♣'s goalkeeper Nicky Williamson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Retana got free with Nicky Williamson in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 20 minutes into the match, INGOBERNABLE F.C's Martin Retana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicky Williamson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. INGOBERNABLE F.C's Martin Retana got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Renán Rocafort made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedé de Toledo in the 24th minute of play. Renán Rocafort took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witold Gotfryd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicky Williamson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Retana in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, ♣¥ OS IMPOSSIVEIS ¥♣'s Dedé de Toledo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Renán Rocafort made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Renán Rocafort came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by ♣¥ OS IMPOSSIVEIS ¥♣'s Witold Gotfryd. But to his dismay, Witold Gotfryd quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After having played for 45 minutes, Martin Retana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INGOBERNABLE F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Retana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. INGOBERNABLE F.C's Fidel Martínez was substituted for Pío Daneri. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martin Retana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. ♣¥ OS IMPOSSIVEIS ¥♣'s Dedé de Toledo got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Witold Gotfryd made in the 53rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Tião Messias. Nicky Williamson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Retana in the 66th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Retana in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicky Williamson saved ♣¥ OS IMPOSSIVEIS ¥♣ from getting behind. In the 72nd minute Martin Retana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicky Williamson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. INGOBERNABLE F.C's Renán Rocafort played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Ramalho in the 76th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, ♣¥ OS IMPOSSIVEIS ¥♣'s goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Martínez came free, but Nicky Williamson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicky Williamson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Martínez, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. INGOBERNABLE F.C's Renán Rocafort played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witold Gotfryd in the 84th minute of play. Renán Rocafort made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Dedé de Toledo sent off a good shot on target. When Martin Retana came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the INGOBERNABLE F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Retana couldn't finish the play. Nicky Williamson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Martínez in the 97th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ♣¥ OS IMPOSSIVEIS ¥♣ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
