An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Bihar in the 21st minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute, Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Iraklis Rapanos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Flavio Vittori. Flavio Vittori yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Krister Jonsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Sigfrido Auletta's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Peter Belkå firmly grabbed it by the left post. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krister Jonsson in the 60th minute of play. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Bihar in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 69th minute of the match, Porziano Marchitelli got a very nice opportunity to score, but Peter Belkå was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 85th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Belkå saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Italy made a substitution. Sansone Vanella replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. Italy's attentive Siricio Liotta managed to snatch the ball when 楚翔烨 made a throw-in in the 90th minute of the game. 97 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Max Rönn came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
