Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Morro Grande E.C's Jorginho Mazza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute of the match, Jorginho Mazza got a very nice opportunity to score, but Keld Paulsen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 4 minutes, Ronaldinho Meira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morro Grande E.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldinho Meira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Keld Paulsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldinho Meira's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldinho Meira in the 15th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denmark's Olav Graversen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jorge Sá, made in the 17th minute of the game. In the 20th play minute Ronaldinho Meira came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Keld Paulsen. 1-0. A sloppy throw-in by Elói Penha in the 29th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Denmark's Theis Winther. Denmark's Chris Nygaard got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gláuber Brodel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Denmark were awarded a corner. Chris Nygaard went to the cornerflag to take it. Morro Grande E.C's Ronaldinho Meira got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The throw-in from Jorge Sá in the 45th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Theis Winther. After having played for 49 minutes, Toninho Caca-Rato managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morro Grande E.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toninho Caca-Rato was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Chris Nygaard made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chris Nygaard got free with Gláuber Brodel in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Denmark's Lars Steen managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jorge Sá in the 55 minute of the game. 61 minutes into the game, Elói Penha threw the ball into play from the sideline. Denmark's Theis Winther quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, Morro Grande E.C's Ronaldo Lima got a free kick in the 61st minute. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorginho Mazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Denmark's Olav Graversen managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Elói Penha in the 67 minute of the game. 70 minutes in the game, Bertram Svenningsen fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gláuber Brodel having to interfere. Morro Grande E.C made a substitution. Hélder Velasco replaced Habib Ali Picavea. Denmark's attentive Theis Winther managed to snatch the ball when Jorge Sá made a throw-in in the 74th minute of the game. A collision led to Morro Grande E.C getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Jorge Sá hit a great ball. After 78 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Jorginho Mazza. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldinho Meira, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Chris Nygaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gláuber Brodel having to interfere. Gláuber Brodel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 86th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Morro Grande E.C's Jorge Sá got a free kick in the 90th minute. Denmark's Chris Nygaard got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldinho Meira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Many of Denmark's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Denmark may have spent more time on the ball, but Morro Grande E.C were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
