Zaccheo Andolina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andriy Lunin having to interfere. In the 20th minute, David Elodio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Flavio Vittori. The goal made the score 1-0. Siricio Liotta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Andriy Lunin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Italy's Siricio Liotta managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Falco Ijkwezen in the 28 minute of the game. After 29 minutes of play, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andriy Lunin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Andriy Lunin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 41st minute of play. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Andriy Lunin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 44th minute of play. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sigfrido Auletta was slow to take the kick. During this time Italy's players had a chance to rest. When Italy's Zaccheo Andolina in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Andriy Lunin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, Italy's Andriy Lunin threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zaccheo Andolina, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
