Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Peletier started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, France's Maxime Durand got control of the ball when Gösta Sellberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 4th match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remy Dupuy to maneuver through the defense. Gösta Sellberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 5thth minute, Maxime Durand skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Gösta Sellberg sped through France's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maxime Durand. In the 15th minute, En Avant Nikko's Johnny Jacquemet ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maxime Durand. Maxime Durand yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Gösta Sellberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silvestre Derwin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Peletier in the 19th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Frank Peletier made a precise shot to the right of Silvestre Derwin. En Avant Nikko's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. En Avant Nikko's Silvestre Derwin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remy Dupuy in the 34th minute of play. Maxime Durand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gösta Sellberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 38 minutes into the game, En Avant Nikko's Gösta Sellberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maxime Durand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Barbier in the 47th minute of play forced En Avant Nikko's goalkeeper Silvestre Derwin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gösta Sellberg to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, En Avant Nikko's Vincent Becker got a free kick in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malcom Fournie in the 57th minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Gösta Sellberg came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Peletier was extremely unlucky when he, in the 61st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Frank Peletiers short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Silvestre Derwin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of France booed when En Avant Nikko was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Didier Têtu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute, France's Camille Baume dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. En Avant Nikko made a substitution. When Gösta Sellberg came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the En Avant Nikko fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gösta Sellberg couldn't finish the play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
