Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Antal Valentin took the kick off in the first half of the match. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 8th minute. The corner ended in Antal Valentin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Göpsen FC's Aytekin Hicab did a great save. Aytekin Hicab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Takacs Tibor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tibor Berkes struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Göpsen FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 27th minute of play forced Göpsen FC's goalkeeper Aytekin Hicab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Bengt Fredriksson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fodor Daniel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Aytekin Hicab showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 42nd match minute, Göpsen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yunus Canver to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute, Antal Valentin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tibor Berkes made a kick off. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aytekin Hicab having to interfere. Aytekin Hicab made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. 66 minutes into the game, Hungary's Antal Valentin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aytekin Hicab made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vahdet Canbolat in the 70th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Tibor Berkes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Tibor Berkes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. İlmi Birsel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tibor Berkes in the 80th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Vahdet Canbolat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. 92 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Vahdet Canbolat came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Major Barna struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Aytekin Hicab didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antal Valentin during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Göpsen FC booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antal Valentin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Göpsen FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hungary had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
