Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sandro Galishoff took the kick off in the first half of the match. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Fabio Schneider sped through P O L O N I A's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julian Makowski. Julian Makowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Schneider in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute Sandro Galishoff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Makowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Makowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Schneider in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, P O L O N I A's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Nalder came free, but Julian Makowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabio Schneider scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julian Makowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. P O L O N I A's Julian Makowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Schneider in the 27th minute of play. Fabio Schneider took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julian Makowski. Julian Makowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 33rd minute, Jonas Nalder left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Austria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 36th minute Marvin Harrer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Makowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabio Schneider scored 0-6 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julian Makowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sandro Galishoff made in the 41st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Fabio Schneider immediately put the ball in play. In the 43rd minute Fabio Schneider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Makowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the P O L O N I A defense, Leonhard Maier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julian Makowski. The P O L O N I A fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julian Makowski should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariusz Kajdasz to make the kick off. Mateusz Rzegotka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julian Makowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Schneider in the 56th minute of the match. Julian Makowski was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Sandro Galishoff capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sandro Galishoff really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. With a little luck, P O L O N I A's Julian Makowski got control of the ball when Fabio Schneider tried to sneak it across the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, P O L O N I A's goalkeeper Julian Makowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sandro Galishoff. P O L O N I A's Julian Makowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save P O L O N I A from getting a goal against them. Patryk Dobilas lost his temper 74 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 75th match minute, P O L O N I A was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patryk Dobilas to maneuver through the defense. Julian Makowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Schneider in the 77th minute of play. Julian Makowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabio Schneider went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-11 was the resulting score. After 92 minutes, Rafael Riedl mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Austria and the P O L O N I A players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Austria's Rafael Riedl got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Austria's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
