After a defensive mix-up in JELINEBERG's zone, Lars Meesters stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paolo Azuela came out of the goal and Lars Meesters tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paolo Azuela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 36th minute of play forced JELINEBERG's goalkeeper Paolo Azuela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tercero Imperiale kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match.

The wind increased when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off in the second half. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Azuela having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
