Gustavo-Hernán Cabezudo scored 2-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iker Eguzki in the 24th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mihail Brânza got free with Wilson Amorim in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 32 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mihail Brânza. 4-1 became the score in the 37th minute when Mihail Brânza elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 40 minutes of play, Infami di Canaus's Ezequiel Leizarraga made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 43rd minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexsandro Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexsandro Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viriato Moura was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Gustavo-Hernán Cabezudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ezequiel Leizarraga went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Alexsandro Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iker Eguzki in the 59th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Infami di Canaus's Iker Eguzki. But to his dismay, Iker Eguzki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. A sloppy throw-in by Adriano Benvenuto in the 66th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Portugal's Daniel Pimentel. 68 minutes into the match, Infami di Canaus's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolomeu Dias came free, but Alexsandro Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihail Brânza in the 70th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Leizarraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Alexsandro Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Caetano Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Cesare Punta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilson Amorim was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. In the 85th minute Infami di Canaus were awarded a corner. Ezequiel Leizarraga went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Comunardo Cerri in the 90th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
