The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Henric Villaquiran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 2nd minute of the game. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With an all-out effort, Picanya FC's Fodor Daniel threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Henric Villaquiran, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 8 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Henric Villaquiran who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Picanya FC booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Major Barna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Elias, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Naldo Roig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 13th minute of the match. In the 25th minute Takacs Tibor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naldo Roig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fodor Daniel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaskon Gimeno went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 39 minutes, Guilabertus Martinez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Picanya FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guilabertus Martinez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st minute Gaskon Gimeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Naldo Roig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Gaskon Gimeno notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Hungary's Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregory Bermejo in the 53rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Major Barna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Naldo Roig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Naldo Roig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henric Villaquiran, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaskon Gimeno in the 65th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Hungary's Balazs Lajos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Naldo Roig. Naldo Roig yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaskon Gimeno in the 70th minute of the match. With a little luck, Picanya FC's Naldo Roig got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Picanya FC's zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Naldo Roig came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Naldo Roig made a huge save. The supporters of Hungary booed when Picanya FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wawrzyniec Kissel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Picanya FC's Naldo Roig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Takacs Tibor in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th match minute, Picanya FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltazar Zaplana to maneuver through the defense. Balazs Lajos kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. When Baltazar Zaplana fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Picanya FC's protests and gave Baltazar Zaplana a yellow card for diving instead. Hungary's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Picanya FC had won, even though Hungary had held more of the ball.
