The crowd rose to their feet as AB Tårnby's Jacob Armitage slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tommy Kahn. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. 22 minutes into the game, Frank Sachs cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Kenn Fronval was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Jacob Armitage made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Chris Mergenthaler got a throw-in 42 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Frank Sachs.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacob Armitage was the one to do the kick off. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacob Armitage, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrian Dreifuss's late challenge caught a AB Tårnby's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Dreifuss helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Dreifuss to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 68 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute, Reinar Wormstrup hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Peer Barlov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 80th minute, Jacob Armitage ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. In the 86th match minute, AB Tårnby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reinar Wormstrup to maneuver through the defense. Frank Sachs, 87 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Kenn Fronval tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of AB Tårnby booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Mergenthaler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Kenn Fronval tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AB Tårnby fans cheered their team off the field, for while Germany had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
