In the 3rd minute of the game Olav Graversen made a throw-in which Bertram Svenningsen played forward. In the 4th minute, Chris Nygaard made a precise shot to the right of 武荣乐. 四川炁's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Nygaard in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 武荣乐 saved 四川炁 from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Chris Nygaard put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of 武荣乐. Kenn Skou hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 武荣乐 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 28 minutes into the match, 四川炁's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but 武荣乐 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 武荣乐 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chris Nygaard went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 四川炁's 武荣乐 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Chris Nygaard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Denmark fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. The Denmark fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Denmark's Chris Nygaard looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half Denmark were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 傅卫荣 made a kick off. A throw-in in the 56th minute of the game was made by 石国庭 with 乔战光 as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 60thth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 四川炁's 武荣乐 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 武荣乐 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the game, Denmark's Chris Nygaard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 武荣乐 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. After a rather tough play, 四川炁's 蒋南青 got a free kick in the 68th minute. 武荣乐 acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 70th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Chris Nygaard. Chris Nygaard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but 武荣乐 made a huge save. In the 77th minute, 蒋南青 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Denmark booed when 四川炁 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. 蒋南青 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bertram Svenningsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 武荣乐 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chris Nygaard went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. Chris Nygaards short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got 武荣乐 to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With an all-out effort, Denmark's 武荣乐 threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Chris Nygaard, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
