Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edwin Koppen got the match started through his kick off. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edwin Koppen in the 2nd minute of play. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. Andreas Frans was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antal Valentin in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andreas Frans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 12 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Major Barna. The supporters of Hungary booed when Wils FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thibaud Verhulst didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Hungary's Major Barna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andreas Frans narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Antal Valentin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 27 minutes into the match, Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edwin Koppen. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edwin Koppen's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. Edwin Koppen was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wils FC's goalkeeper Andreas Frans, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Roland Pluijssens's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fodor Daniel firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. If Etienne Van Achteren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claus Van Dijck, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After 53 minutes, Thibaud Verhulst mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wils FC and the Hungary players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd minute, Thibaud Verhulst hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andreas Frans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Balazs Lajos in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 57th minute of play forced Wils FC's goalkeeper Andreas Frans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bryan Grootaers fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wils FC's protests and gave Bryan Grootaers a yellow card for diving instead. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Etienne Van Achteren in the 65th minute of play. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Andreas Frans made a huge save. In the 67th minute, Antal Valentin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Andreas Frans. The goal made the score 0-3. Etienne Van Achteren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fodor Daniel having to make a save. With a little luck, Wils FC's Andreas Frans got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claus Van Dijck in the 82nd minute of the match. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Wils FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. In the 89th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Frans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Hungary could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Wils FC throughout the match.
