Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fedele Panza started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 6th minute of play forced Lunatics of Arianrhod's goalkeeper Cristoforo Tammaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Tammaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristoforo Tammaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristoforo Tammaro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Martini, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, Joel Hibai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavio Vittori was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Johan Ström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Vittori having to interfere. Zaccheo Andolina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristoforo Tammaro having to interfere. Ernesto Benedetti hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fedele Panza, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zaccheo Andolina in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristoforo Tammaro saved Lunatics of Arianrhod from getting behind. In the 38th minute of the match Italy got a corner. Lunatics of Arianrhod's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sigfrido Auletta ran over to the corner to take the kick. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Ström in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joel Hibai. Zaccheo Andolina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enzo Di Placido hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Flavio Vittori made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joel Hibai in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Zaccheo Andolina made the kick off in the second half. Lunatics of Arianrhod's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Hibai in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute, Sigfrido Auletta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristoforo Tammaro made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Zaccheo Andolina sent off a good shot on target. Flavio Vittori stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernesto Martini's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Ernesto Martini put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Flavio Vittori. Dário Pereira got a throw-in 68 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Enzo Di Placido. In the 73rd minute, Sigfrido Auletta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The throw-in from Dário Pereira in the 75th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Italy's Zena Busacca. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernesto Martini in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Vittori prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Italy made a substitution. Guiscardo Davide replaced Sigfrido Auletta. Italy made a substitution. Sansone Vanella replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Lunatics of Arianrhod's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Siricio Liotta took the corner. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliseo Cutri got free with Cristoforo Tammaro in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92nd minute of the match Porziano Marchitelli shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristoforo Tammaro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Adriano Curto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cristoforo Tammaro. That made the score 2-1 in the 94 minute of play. Lunatics of Arianrhod's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
