Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edwin Koppen got the match started through his kick off. After 4 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Maxence Durand. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 9th minute of the match France got a corner. Wils FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. David Barbier ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice moves Frank Peletier could shoot a difficult shot in the 10th minute, which Andreas Frans however easily saved by the left post. In the 17th minute Edwin Koppen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Alexis Bruneau hit a great ball. Maxime Durand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Etienne Van Achteren in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Claus Van Dijck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wils FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Etienne Van Achteren in the 44th minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwin Koppen in the 45th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edwin Koppen in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxime Durand saved France from getting behind. In the 48th minute, Etienne Van Achteren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Frank Peletier made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Wils FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar De Putter to maneuver through the defense. The corner ended in Lorenz Van Deijck almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but France's Maxime Durand did a great save. In the 66th minute, Etienne Van Achteren fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Edwin Koppen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Maxime Durand firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Camille Baume hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Oscar De Putter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Etienne Van Achteren in the 74th minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Barbier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andreas Frans having to make a save. Andreas Frans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camille Baume in the 80th minute of the match. France's Frank Peletier got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Harald De Messemaeckre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Remy Dupuy might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andreas Frans. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Remy Dupuy ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 96th minute, one of France:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for France. The goalkeeper, Maxime Durand, was totally fooled by Wils FC's Edwin Koppen, who 99 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The France manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Wils FC to win.
