In the 36th minute, Samuel Ryynänen made a precise shot to the right of Carol Stinga. Romania's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Luis Täger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Serban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis Täger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sanda Cutov went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Carol Stinga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Reyes, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. In the 48th minute Parque Europa FC were awarded a corner. Dario Casero went to the cornerflag to take it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Froilan Reyes to make the kick off. Parque Europa FC's Luis Täger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sanda Cutov in the 51st minute of play. Romania's Carol Stinga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Mendiola in the 53rd minute of play. Romania made a substitution. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sanda Cutov in the 64th minute of play forced Parque Europa FC's goalkeeper Luis Täger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Octavian Vaduva made in the 70th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Parque Europa FC's Emanuel Löfkvist. 72 minutes into the match, Parque Europa FC's Saul Gomesano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carol Stinga narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
