An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Larsson in the 4th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the game, Henrik Larsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Casper Claes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Decathlon Dudes getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Timo Venema hit a great ball. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrik Larsson in the 10th minute of play. After some careless play in the Belgium defense, Henrik Larsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Casper Claes. The Belgium fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casper Claes should have stopped the shot. 18 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Henrik Larsson came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Decathlon Dudes's Henrik Larsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Casper Claes. Casper Claes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Tadej Pogačar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Costin Moisil almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Belgium's Casper Claes did a great save. In the 32nd minute of the game Floris Claeys made a throw-in which Siebe Michiels played forward. With an all-out effort, Decathlon Dudes's Casper Claes threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Henrik Larsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The throw-in from Floris Claeys in the 46th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Decathlon Dudes's Timo Venema. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henrik Larsson to make the kick off. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Larsson in the 51st minute of play. In the 54th minute of the match Belgium got a corner. Decathlon Dudes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edward Vanderstraeten ran over to the corner to take the kick. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marinus Doren in the 55th minute of the match. Decathlon Dudes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Costin Moisil in the 58th minute. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrik Larsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Larsson in the 62nd minute of the match. Tadej Pogačar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edward Vanderstraeten showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 77 minute of play. Anthon Melin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
