The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aleks Vaskov scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 10 minutes into the game, Traian Delas threw the ball into play from the sideline. Portugal's Bruno Bastos quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Hristofor Borchev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 15th minute of play forced Бенковски Тетевен's goalkeeper Hristofor Borchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aleks Vaskov to make the kick off. Hristofor Borchev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viriato Moura in the 52nd minute. After 53 played minutes Бенковски Тетевен got a freekick which was hit by Dido Dunchev.
