Spain's Gabriel Ascaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raido Pulver in the 31st minute of play. Haşim Batüralp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adria Bielsa in the 38th minute of play forced Kings's goalkeeper Haşim Batüralp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Adria Bielsa notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Kings's Haşim Batüralp. Haşim Batüralp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Kristupas Šimkūnas charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kristupas Šimkūnas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Kings's Kristupas Šimkūnas got a free kick in the 86th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carles Cherro got free with Haşim Batüralp in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Carles Cherro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Haşim Batüralp was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. The Gabriel Ascaso was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The Kings fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Spain were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
