Edgaras Jankauskas made in the 21st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. Sigfrido Auletta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haşim Batüralp having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Edgaras Jankauskas threw the ball into play from the sideline. Italy's Siricio Liotta quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 25 minutes into the match, Zaccheo Andolina notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Kings's Haşim Batüralp. Haşim Batüralp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Haşim Batüralp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zaccheo Andolina to make the kick off. Haşim Batüralp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 57th minute of play. Kings's Raido Pulver got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kings's Bob Grammet was substituted for Edgaras Jankauskas. 68 minutes into the match, Kings's Raido Pulver sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Vittori narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 71st minute Raido Pulver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Haşim Batüralp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. A collision led to Italy getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Eliseo Cutri hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Victorino Marko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kings fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Italy made a substitution. Sansone Vanella replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. In the 96th minute of the match, Adriano Curto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Haşim Batüralp saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
