Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Edoardo Pascucci started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Edoardo Pascucci blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edoardo Pascucci in the 6th minute of play. In the 13th minute of the game Fedele Bassi made a throw-in which Edoardo Pascucci played forward. Merceron United's Dave Giacomozzi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Chris Mergenthaler in the 19 minute of the game. Edoardo Pascucci might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edoardo Pascucci ran back to his position shaking his head. Edoardo Pascucci in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tommy Kahn, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Chris Mergenthaler got a throw-in 26 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Frank Sachs. After a rather tough play, Merceron United's Milosz Waselenczuk got a free kick in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Gamza came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 minutes of play, Merceron United's Jan Gamza made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Merceron United's Edoardo Pascucci. But to his dismay, Edoardo Pascucci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great ball. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edoardo Pascucci went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The audience was convinced that Edoardo Pascucci's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. In the 62nd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Mergenthaler to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edoardo Pascucci in the 63rd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anselmo Facchetti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 82nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Frank Sachs could shoot a difficult shot in the 91st minute, which Anselmo Facchetti however easily saved by the left post. After 93 minutes, Adrian Dreifuss mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the Merceron United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edoardo Pascucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Merceron United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
