It was a penalty for Hungary! Hungary:s Fodor Daniel showed great skill when he stopped Albino Cugat:s penalty. The crowd rose to their feet as Albino Cugat kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fodor Daniel. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Takacs Tibor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Takacs Tibor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gigel Zăvoiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Katona Janos hit a great ball. Oliver Bierhoff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 24th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Fodor Daniel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 35th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gigel Zăvoiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oliver Bierhoff might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fodor Daniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oliver Bierhoff ran back to his position shaking his head. 38 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Bierhoff came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Oliver Bierhoff sent off a good shot on target. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Gigel Zăvoiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Major Barna in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gigel Zăvoiu saved MasterBets from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oliver Bierhoff made a kick off. With a little luck, MasterBets's Gigel Zăvoiu got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Szekeres Tamas kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match.
