Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniil Barlas started the match with the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniil Barlas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vavrinec Holub. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Daniil Barlas succeeded in the game's 9th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Christodoulos Tsagris took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vavrinec Holub. Vavrinec Holub dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Sakis Skouras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Minas Vrontakis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vavrinec Holub firmly grabbed it by the left post. Vavrinec Holub made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sakis Skouras in the 23rd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Minas Vrontakis could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Vavrinec Holub however easily saved by the left post. Vavrinec Holub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniil Barlas, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Jilek in the 31st minute of play forced PAOK Irakliou's goalkeeper Thodoris Patsatzis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bohumir Kohout's late challenge caught a PAOK Irakliou's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bohumir Kohout helped the player get up and apologised. 41 minutes into the match, PAOK Irakliou's Minas Vrontakis broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Vavrinec Holub came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by PAOK Irakliou's Minas Vrontakis. But to his dismay, Minas Vrontakis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erik Jilek to make the kick off. When Alan Rezek fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Czech Republic's protests and gave Alan Rezek a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's Alan Rezek got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute Daniil Barlas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vavrinec Holub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Minas Vrontakis in the 54th minute of play. Vavrinec Holub didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniil Barlas went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Czech Republic defense, Daniil Barlas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vavrinec Holub. The Czech Republic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vavrinec Holub should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Minas Vrontakis sped through Czech Republic's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vavrinec Holub. In the 76th minute, Minas Vrontakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Czech Republic getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Dalimil Charvat hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniil Barlas in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vavrinec Holub saved Czech Republic from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the PAOK Irakliou players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
