Match Report

Stadion Nowina
Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0)
The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Frank Sachs took the kick off in the first half of the match. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milosz Lizewski in the 2nd minute of play. Adrian Dreifuss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jedrzej Bryk having to interfere. When Feliks Kowalski fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elioszki's protests and gave Feliks Kowalski a yellow card for diving instead. Chris Mergenthaler charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chris Mergenthaler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Mergenthaler to maneuver through the defense. Gabrio Varlett's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tommy Kahn firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gabrio Varlett could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Milosz Lizewski's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Milosz Lizewski scored 1-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Malte Schiele hit a great ball. When Milosz Lizewski came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Elioszki fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milosz Lizewski couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Milosz Lizewski in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. If Tanek Fikus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jedrzej Bryk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Holweck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albin Holweck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 45 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Milosz Lizewski came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Milosz Lizewski was the one to do the kick off. Jedrzej Bryk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frank Sachs went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Milosz Lizewski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. With his leg Jedrzej Bryk managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Germany's Frank Sachs fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Frank Sachs in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jedrzej Bryk, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jedrzej Bryk having to interfere. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabrio Varlett, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Jedrzej Bryk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 66th minute of the match. Sven Krakouer hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Elioszki's 毛康俊 was substituted for Gabrio Varlett. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Milosz Lizewski in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milosz Lizewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the match, Milosz Lizewski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Milosz Lizewski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Feliks Kowalski got his second yellow card in the match during the 80th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 81st minute of the match Frank Sachs shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jedrzej Bryk showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elioszki's 毛康俊 got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 86 minutes into the game, Adrian Dreifuss was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elioszki the free kick. In the 89th minute, Tanek Fikus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 毛康俊 in the 95th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Elioszki's corner Radomir Smuskiewicz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tommy Kahn quite easily take care of the ball. Germany's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
