After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. After 12 played minutes Team Rocco got a freekick which was hit by Joar Bergfeldt. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 15th minute of play forced Team Rocco's goalkeeper Sven-Edvin Mårtensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven-Edvin Mårtensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Takacs Tibor in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. Hegedus Henrik was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joar Bergfeldt during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Team Rocco's Joar Bergfeldt got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Göran Unesson in the 24th minute. Sven-Edvin Mårtensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 26th minute of the match. Antal Valentin spun around in front of the goal 26 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Team Rocco's goal. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Edvin Mårtensson having to interfere. Takacs Tibor struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Sven-Edvin Mårtensson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 46th minute, Joel Lundström fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fodor Daniel, passed just outside the right post. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antal Valentin was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Team Rocco's goalkeeper Sven-Edvin Mårtensson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Göran Unesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, Team Rocco's Vincent Olofsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Balazs Lajos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sven-Edvin Mårtensson came out and tried to block the shot, but Balazs Lajos slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 65th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Vincent Olofsson came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Edvin Mårtensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ralf Vase tried in the game's 77th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Sven-Edvin Mårtensson. An annoying self made goal, 0-2. Mark Eliasson kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Takacs Tibor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Edvin Mårtensson having to interfere. Major Barna struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Sven-Edvin Mårtensson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfred Samuelsson hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Hungary left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Team Rocco.
