Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edward Vanderstraeten took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edward Vanderstraeten in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Truman Cooley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 5th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belgium fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Truman Cooley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 8th minute of play. Ferdinand Bauer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Claes having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Truman Cooley. C. A. Independiente's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Vanderstraeten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Truman Cooley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. C. A. Independiente's Truman Cooley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 21st minute of play. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bob Griffith in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bob Griffith in the 31st minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Truman Cooley made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Truman Cooley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 38th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Edward Vanderstraeten put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Truman Cooley. 42 minutes into the game, Edward Vanderstraeten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Truman Cooley was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 46 minutes into the game, Edward Vanderstraeten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Truman Cooley was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Belgium were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Dillard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Yves Dervaux reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Truman Cooley. The goal made the score 0-8. After a rather tough play, C. A. Independiente's Juanpi Sorin got a free kick in the 55th minute. Gilbert Guzman kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Juanpi Sorin in the 59th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Belgium's Nigel Devos. Truman Cooley made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Siebe Michiels sent off a good shot on target. Truman Cooley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 60th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Truman Cooley in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 63 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Truman Cooley narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edward Vanderstraeten struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Truman Cooley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgium. Truman Cooley was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Edward Vanderstraeten capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edward Vanderstraeten really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. When Gilbert Guzman fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C. A. Independiente's protests and gave Gilbert Guzman a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Belgium booed when C. A. Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilbert Guzman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Siebe Michiels managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Siebe Michiels was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Siebe Michiels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Truman Cooley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Truman Cooley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 80th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Bob Griffith shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th play minute Edward Vanderstraeten came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Truman Cooley. 0-10. When the final whistle sounded Belgium left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than C. A. Independiente.
