Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Miguel Tristan kicked off to start the match. Medoacus Maior's Biagio Tolin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 5th minute of play. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Miguel Tristan tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. David Eikelkamp hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elia Bosco. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. In the 27th minute of the match, Elia Bosco got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arnout Reekers was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 30th minute Miguel Tristan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Biagio Tolin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Urtungo Verdejo came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34thth minute of the game Miguel Tristan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gijsbert ter Kruimer might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Biagio Tolin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran back to his position shaking his head. Elia Boscos short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Arnout Reekers to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lars Meesters hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Netherlands's defense didn't have a chance, in the 48th minute, when Elia Bosco scored to the left of an out of position Arnout Reekers, making the score, 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urtungo Verdejo in the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th match minute, Medoacus Maior was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corrado Piscopo to maneuver through the defense. Biagio Tolin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wim Wilmes went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Elia Bosco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Miguel Tristan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnout Reekers was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urtungo Verdejo in the 86th minute of play. Medoacus Maior's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
