Hegedus Henrik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Malcolm Wall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Takacs Tibor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, Pauliström's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Malcolm Wall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 11 minutes Pauliström's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. After a defensive mix-up in Pauliström's zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Malcolm Wall came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christer Åström didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Pauliström's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Malcolm Wall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Malcolm Wall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The corner led Pauliström's Ivar Björklund to fire away a dangerous shot which Fodor Daniel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Folke Melins short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Fodor Daniel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 25th minute of play forced Pauliström's goalkeeper Malcolm Wall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Pauliström's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Malcolm Wall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Major Barna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Malcolm Wall was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Albert Andberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. 39 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Malcolm Wall. Pauliström's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antal Valentin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 42nd match minute, Pauliström was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christer Åström to maneuver through the defense. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Folke Melin was the one to do the kick off. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Takacs Tibor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Malcolm Wall read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Takacs Tibor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Malcolm Wall was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Pauliström's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 64 in the game by Antal Valentin from a close distance when the talented Malcolm Wall managed to make a qualified save. Pauliström's players were relieved. Antal Valentin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Malcolm Wall when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Max Hjortsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 0-4 became the score in the 71st minute when Antal Valentin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Malcolm Wall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balazs Lajos in the 76th minute of play. Major Barna received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Malcolm Wall came out and tried to block the shot, but Major Barna slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 77th minute. Takacs Tibor took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Malcolm Wall. Malcolm Wall dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. 88 minutes into the match, Pauliström's goalkeeper Malcolm Wall had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Takacs Tibor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Malcolm Wall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
