Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) When Emil Chioreanu came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the AFC Napoca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emil Chioreanu couldn't finish the play. Mircea Mitulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Jilek in the 11th minute of play. Kvetoslav Janku kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Doru Burtescu took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vavrinec Holub. Vavrinec Holub dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Mircea Mitulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Dostal, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Alan Rezek notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of AFC Napoca's Mircea Mitulescu. Mircea Mitulescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 28th minute, AFC Napoca's Reynaldo Leite ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vavrinec Holub. Vavrinec Holub yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. In the 31st minute, Erik Jilek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mircea Mitulescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. In the 35th minute, Doru Burtescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vavrinec Holub was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. When Doru Burtescu came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the AFC Napoca fans jumped to their feet. Vavrinec Holub didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Napoca. 43 minutes into the match, AFC Napoca's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Jilek came free, but Mircea Mitulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Doru Burtescu kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Doru Burtescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Jilek to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Doru Burtescu in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vavrinec Holub saved Czech Republic from getting behind. Vavrinec Holub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 69 minutes into the match, AFC Napoca's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Dostal came free, but Mircea Mitulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Leite in the 80th minute of play. Doru Burtescu scored 5-2 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vavrinec Holub, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 88th minute, Erik Jilek reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mircea Mitulescu. The goal made the score 5-3. Doru Burtescu struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Vavrinec Holub didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Napoca. 94 minutes into the match, Reynaldo Leite had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vavrinec Holub. Czech Republic's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reynaldo Leite was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-3.
