Casper Claes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yves Dervaux in the 42nd minute of play forced Türk Polis Gücü's goalkeeper Edmund Dulemba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd match minute, Türk Polis Gücü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 尹林旭 to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by 尹林旭 in the 47th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Belgium's Guillaume Bonte. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Günther Doty to make the kick off. Edmund Dulemba made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. Siebe Michiels recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaid Cevahir in the 75th minute of play. Zaid Cevahir's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Zaid Cevahir ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casper Claes was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Edmund Dulemba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaid Cevahir in the 88th minute of play. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Poyraz Özkoc in the 92nd minute of the match. Belgium's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
