Major Barna might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Will Muralhas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Major Barna ran back to his position shaking his head. Will Muralhas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The supporters of Hungary booed when SE Palmeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elivélton Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Will Muralhas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Balazs Lajos, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Will Muralhas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 26th minute of the match. After 41 minutes SE Palmeiras's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Hungary's Antal Valentin to fire away a dangerous shot which Will Muralhas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A hard shot 43 in the game by Giuseppe Esteves from a close distance when the talented Fodor Daniel managed to make a qualified save. Hungary's players were relieved. Hungary's Antal Valentin got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Szekeres Tamas fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hungary's protests and gave Szekeres Tamas a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Szekeres Tamas got a free kick in the 46th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Giuseppe Esteves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, SE Palmeiras's Will Muralhas got control of the ball when Major Barna tried to sneak it across the goal line. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Will Muralhas having to interfere. After 58 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Szekeres Tamas. After a rather tough play, SE Palmeiras's Alfredinho Reis got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute, Major Barna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 66 played minutes SE Palmeiras got a freekick which was hit by Alfredinho Reis. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Katona Janos hit a great ball. When Alfredinho Reis came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the SE Palmeiras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredinho Reis couldn't finish the play. Elivélton Valle hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Takacs Tibor dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Will Muralhas, 0-3. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Will Muralhas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 87 minutes of play, SE Palmeiras's Giuseppe Esteves made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fodor Daniel was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Hungary's Balazs Lajos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Will Muralhas. That made the score 1-4 after 96 minutes of play. When the match was over Hungary could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SE Palmeiras throughout the match.
