The goal made the score 1-0. The Moneteria fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Moneteria's Tobiasz Gniech looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 15 minutes into the match, Tobiasz Gniech had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tobiasz Gniech was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Kacper Tobias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viriato Moura in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kacper Tobias saved Moneteria from getting behind. In the 22nd minute Moneteria were awarded a corner. Eugeniusz Malewicki went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Eugeniusz Malewicki got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wilson Amorim quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Moreira in the 26th minute of play forced Moneteria's goalkeeper Kacper Tobias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kacper Tobias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 34th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tobiasz Gniech in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Moneteria's Tobiasz Gniech slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wilson Amorim. That made the score 4-1 after 39 minutes of play. Moneteria's Maciej Trynda was substituted for Tobiasz Gniech. 45 minutes into the match, Moneteria's Maciej Trynda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

Kacper Tobias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Portugal's Felipe Barreto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kacper Tobias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 56th minute of the match Portugal got a corner. Moneteria's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Felipe Barreto ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Portugal's corner Felipe Barreto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kacper Tobias quite easily take care of the ball. In the 61st minute, Portugal's Caetano Moreira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kacper Tobias. Kacper Tobias yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. 67 minutes in the game Rodolfo Miranda did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Caetano Moreira. In the 68th minute Maciej Trynda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wiktor Ciempa made in the 70th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Kazimierz Kolano. After 81 minutes, Maciej Trynda made it 5-2 with a short kick to the right side. Portugal's Wilson Amorim tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maciej Trynda, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. The Moneteria fans cheered their team off the field, for while Portugal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
