Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anton Hizo started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Cornel Ştefănoiu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vavrinec Holub was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Hizo in the 10th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anton Hizo in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vavrinec Holub prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Balaceanu UFC's zone, Denis Dostal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stelian Lalescu came out of the goal and Denis Dostal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd minute, Alan Rezek made a precise shot to the right of Stelian Lalescu. Balaceanu UFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Jilek in the 31st minute of play forced Balaceanu UFC's goalkeeper Stelian Lalescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Mihăiţă Puișoru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mircea Ivasiuc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Jilek in the 42nd minute of play forced Balaceanu UFC's goalkeeper Stelian Lalescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denis Dostal might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stelian Lalescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Denis Dostal ran back to his position shaking his head. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erik Jilek to strike the kick off in the second half. Stelian Lalescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Jilek in the 52nd minute of the match. Stelian Lalescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Jilek in the 53rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erik Jilek got free with Stelian Lalescu in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58th match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Rusil to maneuver through the defense. When Balaceanu UFC's Anton Hizo in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Czech Republic's goalie prevented a goal. 61 minutes into the game, Alan Rezek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Stelian Lalescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Hizo in the 67th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Czech Republic's Denis Dostal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. 84 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Horia Bosânceanu came free, but Vavrinec Holub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Balaceanu UFC's Stelian Lalescu got control of the ball when Alan Rezek tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 92 minutes, Bohumir Kohout mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Czech Republic and the Balaceanu UFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Balaceanu UFC booed when Czech Republic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bohumir Kohout didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Czech Republic's zone, Horia Bosânceanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vavrinec Holub came out of the goal and Horia Bosânceanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Balaceanu UFC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Czech Republic to win.
