El Renacer del Quijano FC's Teobaldo Ubarna got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andres Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yves Dervaux in the 33rd minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Yves Dervaux cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Andres Lastur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andres Lastur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Casper Claes made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Teobaldo Ubarna sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Teobaldo Ubarna took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Casper Claes to make any attempt to save it. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Teobaldo Ubarna made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Ubarna in the 53rd minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yves Dervaux could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Andres Lastur made a huge save. After 89 minutes, Peneios Protopsaltis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Renacer del Quijano FC and the Belgium players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 93 minutes, Aurelio Urbes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Renacer del Quijano FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Urbes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to El Renacer del Quijano FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Lucas Cresconio hit a great ball. The supporters of El Renacer del Quijano FC booed when Belgium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siebe Michiels didn't get a good kick on the ball. Belgium's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
