Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Viriato Moura kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Ubarna in the 2nd minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute of the match El Renacer del Quijano FC got a corner. Portugal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Peneios Protopsaltis ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 8th match minute, El Renacer del Quijano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Koit Einasto to maneuver through the defense. Teobaldo Ubarna who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Wilson Amorim when he managed to save the team from getting behind. El Renacer del Quijano FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Peneios Protopsaltis in the 12th minute. After taking down the ball on El Renacer del Quijano FC's corner Jakob Friberger fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wilson Amorim quite easily take care of the ball. With 14 minutes on the clock, Koit Einasto commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in El Renacer del Quijano FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! El Renacer del Quijano FC:s Andres Lastur showed great skill when he stopped Felipe Barreto:s penalty. In the 22nd minute Caetano Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Lastur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Teobaldo Ubarna tried to sneak it across the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, El Renacer del Quijano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Andres Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andres Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andres Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Graciano Coutinho in the 37th minute of play. Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Teobaldo Ubarna sent off a good shot on target. 42 minutes into the match, Caetano Moreira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andres Lastur. El Renacer del Quijano FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Caetano Moreira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felipe Barreto in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andres Lastur saved El Renacer del Quijano FC from getting behind. 47 minutes into the match Teobaldo Ubarna climbed in front of goal and pressed up 2-1 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Wilson Amorim. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Teobaldo Ubarna made the kick off in the second half. Portugal's Felipe Barreto got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andres Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Moreira in the 58th minute of play. Teobaldo Ubarna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. With an all-out effort, Portugal's Andres Lastur threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Caetano Moreira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A hard shot 68 in the game by Felipe Barreto from a close distance when the talented Andres Lastur managed to make a qualified save. El Renacer del Quijano FC's players were relieved. Felipe Barreto had several of the El Renacer del Quijano FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 68 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Andres Lastur as he didn't even see the shot coming. El Renacer del Quijano FC's Eustaquio Vermudo was substituted for Nunez Maurin. El Renacer del Quijano FC made a substitution. Aurelio Urbes replaced Teobaldo Ubarna. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. El Renacer del Quijano FC's Andres Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 72nd minute of play. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Urbes in the 74th minute of play. After taking down the ball on El Renacer del Quijano FC's corner Peneios Protopsaltis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wilson Amorim quite easily take care of the ball. Andres Lastur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Peneios Protopsaltis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Jakob Friberger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andres Lastur was a little too slow when Felipinho Amorim got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Leandro Laurentzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Leandro Laurentzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Bartolomeu Dias kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Andres Lastur. That made the score 2-4 in the 93 minute of play. The supporters of El Renacer del Quijano FC booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipinho Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th minute Aurelio Urbes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. El Renacer del Quijano FC were awarded a corner in the 98th minute after Portugal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Peneios Protopsaltis took the corner. Portugal's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
