Jan-Åke Juhlin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camille Baume in the 5th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Honu Ng in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxime Durand saved France from getting behind. In the 9th match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Robiquet to maneuver through the defense. Coşkun Sehim, 10 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The Åhus Absolut F.C fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Åhus Absolut F.C's Honu Ng looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Leo Ström did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Maxime Durand 17 minutes into the match. The Åhus Absolut F.C fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Åhus Absolut F.C's Honu Ng looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Åhus Absolut F.C's Jan-Åke Juhlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Peletier in the 23rd minute of play. If Frank Peletier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Ström in the 44th minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Honu Ng made a kick off. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honu Ng in the 51st minute of play. 52 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Folke Hökqvist came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camille Baume sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute, Åhus Absolut F.C's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Frank Peletier fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Camille Baume could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Jan-Åke Juhlin made a huge save. If Robert Chapuis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Åhus Absolut F.C's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Juhlin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Frank Peletier managed to get in a good position for a shot. France's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Peletier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Åke Juhlin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Åhus Absolut F.C made a substitution. Jakob Browall replaced Honu Ng. Åhus Absolut F.C's Pelle Sikström was substituted for Leo Ström. Jan-Åke Juhlin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Peletier in the 78th minute of play. Frank Peletier struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Jan-Åke Juhlin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for France. Coşkun Sehim took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maxime Durand. France's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Maxime Durand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Folke Hökqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 94 played minutes Åhus Absolut F.C got a freekick which was hit by Folke Hökqvist. With a little luck, Åhus Absolut F.C's Jan-Åke Juhlin got control of the ball when Frank Peletier tried to sneak it across the goal line. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by Åhus Absolut F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. David Barbier was slow to take the kick. During this time France's players had a chance to rest. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Åhus Absolut F.C had won after a very even match.
