Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Florencio Villegas made the kick off which started today's match. In the 7th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Villegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 9 minutes, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wim Wilmes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Efrain Villegas hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Cornelio Villegas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Cavaliers FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. 21 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Villegas came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cornelio Villegas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Lars Meesters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Cornelio Villegas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Villegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off in the second half. Cavaliers FC made a substitution. Marcos Arano replaced Florencio Villegas. Kees Mooiweer made in the 58th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Kees Mooiweer immediately put the ball in play. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Cornelio Villegas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cornelio Villegas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the game, Cavaliers FC's Adolfo Umea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 70 minutes into the match, Cavaliers FC's Marcos Arano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnout Reekers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Cavaliers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Etor didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Cavaliers FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Jeremias Sandalio hit a great ball. Marcos Arano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnout Reekers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Lars Meesters recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cavaliers FC's Pastor Etxeberri was substituted for Ambrosio Iratxo. After a rather tough play, Cavaliers FC's Carmelo Sagrario got a free kick in the 88th minute. Cavaliers FC made a substitution. Desiderio Rami replaced Teofilo Mikeldi. A collision led to Cavaliers FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Pastor Etxeberri hit a great ball. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Arano in the 96th minute of play. Desiderio Rami took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0.
